All-New Turi’s Kid Cove
Grab your best buddies and get ready to splash, spray, and play in the all-new Turi’s Kid Cove, a water adventure attraction filled with watering palms, tipping buckets, spraying jets, water bobbles, and more. This exciting new kid’s area also features the new Tamariki Twirl, a kid-sized wave slide where parents and kids can enjoy the fun together!
Now Open: Walkabout Pizza
Let’s talk about pizza—the new Walkabout Pizza! This delicious destination located next to our fun-filled Walkabout Waters play area is sure to be popular with anyone in need of a tasty break. Choose from a variety of toppings and sink your teeth into a freshly baked, flatbread-style pizza with a refreshing fountain drink to top it off.
Now Open: Trader Turi’s Tiki Bar
If you’re looking for a place to sink your toes in the sand and drink in the Polynesian vibes, the new Trader Turi’s Tiki Bar is for you. Stroll up to this sandy spot from either the beach or the pathway and tell them Turi (our Aquatican frog friend) sent you! Choose from a variety of frozen drinks and tropical cocktails—including our signature Mango-Rita—and enjoy the view, whether you take advantage of the 360-degree setup or check out the bar’s TVs.
Now Open: Banana Beach Cookout and Papa’s Cantina
Calling all foodies, good news! Banana Beach and Papa’s Cantina are back and better than ever before. Come and grab a bite after sunbathing on the sand over at Papa’s Cantina, only steps away from the beach. Or if you have a big appetite, head on over to Banana Beach. With a remodeled inside and updated patio, this will be your go-to spot for all the best eats, from ribs and sandwiches to salads and cheesecake. These improvements are sure worth checking out, so don’t miss it on your next visit to Aquatica!
Taking Lounging to a New Level
We know you love Aquatica’s exciting water slides and splashy play areas, but we also want to make sure you have room to relax. That’s why we’re adding 1,000 new loungers and more shady spots for you. Find great lounging locations at Loggerhead Lane and KareKare Curl, a premier spot overlooking Cutback Cove, waterstone seating under Whanau Way, and more. Plus, we’re adding seven new cabanas near Roa’s Rapids. and Walkabout Waters. Have a seat, catch some sun, and enjoy!
More Surprises Around the Park
Reef Plunge and Turi’s Kid Cove aren’t the only new attraction experiences at Aquatica! Now you can enjoy the fun of Tassie’s Twisters without getting into the river to grab a tube. We’re also adding Quick Queue for Tassie’s Twisters and Reef Plunge recently! Omaka Rocka can now accommodate double tubes so you can share the adventure with a friend. And on KareKare Curl, you’ll discover new five-seat rafts and a conveyor belt to carry them. It’s never been easier and more convenient to make a splash!
Speaking of ease and convenience, we’re also adding 375 parking spots and making other enhancements to help make entering and exiting the park simpler and more efficient. That means you’ll be saving time and stress from the moment you arrive at Aquatica all the way to the end of your fun-filled day. Stop by this year and see the difference for yourself!
