Ray Rush Construction Update
January 19, 2018
A few months ago we told you about Ray Rush, a brand-new attraction coming to Aquatica this spring. Well, it's time to give you an update and we are happy to report that construction is well underway!
Construction crews have been onsite for the past several weeks, demolition of HooRoo Run is complete and we have officially broken ground on our new attraction. Teams have already begun the process of pouring the massive cement foundations that will support this incredible new water slide.
A majority of the fiberglass slide pieces and galvanized steel supports have arrived on site and crews are beginning the complex task of assembling small ride sections which will soon be lifted into position. In no time at all, our guests will see these vibrant blue and green slide sections rise into place, some as high as 60 feet.
Check out the progress for yourself in our first construction update video!
Be sure to check back next month for another update and to learn when you can experience the three-in-one thrills of Ray Rush for yourself! For even more news and updates, like Aquatica Orlando on Facebook and be sure to join the conversation using #RayRush.
